Current Bids - How To Monitor My Bidding Activity

When you navigate to your Current Bids page, you will encounter two key metrics:

Total Current Bids: This represents the cumulative value of all your active bids on auctions that you are currently winning.

Total Commitment: This reflects the sum of your maximum bids on auctions that you are currently winning.

What does this mean?

The "Total Current Bids" figure illustrates the total amount you would pay if all the auctions you are participating in and holding the winning position were to close at this moment. Essentially, it accounts for the winning bids placed in each of these auctions.

For instance, in the provided image, if all your ongoing auctions concluded immediately, you would be liable to pay $396 in total, based on the current leading bids.

On the other hand, the "Total Commitment" represents the cumulative maximum bid for every auction you're engaged in and winning, reflecting the total amount you are willing to pay for all items.

In the example above, your maximum bid in the first auction is $1,000 but the current bid in the auction stands at $218. If all four auctions you're participating in were to close immediately, as you are currently leading in two of them, you would pay a total of $392, even though your total commitment is of $1,175.

The easiest way to monitor and keep track of your bidding activity is by accessing your Current Bids page.
